
I made this bench for my son Adam and his wife Bailey to use in the foyer of their house. The bench top is a live edge slab of Pacific Yew that was harvested here on Vancouver Island. The base of the bench is made from Black Walnut. The legs and stretcher have some interesting curves.
Adam and Bailey are using this bench in the foyer of their home, but it works equally well as a coffee table as you can see in the fourth photo in the gallery below.
All of the parts of the bench were finished with 3 coats of OSMO.
