Adam’s Sewing Machine Table

I made this table using an old sewing machine that I found in an antique store. I removed the sewing machine part of it and kept the base. My friend Warren, who loves working with metal, restored the base and painted it for me.

The tabletop is a bookmatched piece of Curly Western Maple, with some nice streaks of colour in it.

The table works well as a small desk, it’s the perfect hight for using a computer.

I gave this table to my son Adam, and since he’s got two little girls, he purchased a fish tank and he keeps that on the table..
