Claro Walnut TV Cabinet

This cabinet was designed to fit under a wall-mounted TV.

The door front’s feature a spectacular set of bookmatched Claro Walnut veneers that were cut from a small plank of Claro Walnut that I had been saving for “something special”. The sides, back panels and the top of the cabinet were all cut from one plank of straight-grained Walnut. The interior of the cabinet is Curly Maple from a tree that was harvested on Vancouver Island.

The piece is 72″ wide by 18″ deep and 31″ high and the cabinet was finished with 3 coats of OSMO Polyx®-Oil.
