Grace and Warren’s Kitchen Table
I made this table for my friends Grace and Warren. They are using it the kitchen in their house.
The base of the table is from an old cast iron sewing machine which Warren found at a thrift store. He removed the sewing machine, restored the base and painted it black.
The table top was made from a plank of curly live-edge western maple (big-leaf maple), which was milled from a tree that grew on Vancouver Island. The table top is book-matched and has live-edges on both sides of the table.
The tabletop is xx” wide by xx” long and xx” thick. The table stands xx” tall.
The table was finished with 3 coats of OSMO Polyx®-Oil.
