This cabinet is constructed using Black Walnut and Curly Maple. The front of the cabinet is curved with an asymmetric set of 8 drawers. Since the front of the cabinet is curved, the fronts of the drawers are also curved, which made cutting the dovetails challenging. The fronts of the drawers are Curly Maple, the sides and backs are Arbutus and the drawer bottoms are Red Cedar.
This was my third major project while I was a student attending Inside Passage School of Fine Cabinetmaking.
