Attention all Saltair Woodworkers!!
A new guild has been formed in the past couple months called the Mid-Island Woodworkers Guild (MIWG). The guild was established to give woodworkers in the mid-island region an alternative to driving down to Victoria to attend the Vancouver Island Woodworkers Guild (VIWG) meetings.
The MIWG guild meets on the second Wednesday of every month in meeting room A at NDSS in Nanaimo. There is more information on the guilds website:
Currently there are three guild members from the Saltair area (Al Boudreau, John Silins and Steve Neil), so if you want more information, or if you want to share a ride, contact one of us. Visitors are welcome at the monthly meetings so if you want to attend a meeting and see what it’s all about, please do!
