Art and Daphne’s Night Tables

I made a pair of these night tables for the couple who have done some of my photography.

The night tables are constructed using shop-sawn veneers cut from a single plank of English Brown Oak and finished with three coats of OSMO.

Art loves to read in bed at night, so I mounted a book holder on the side of his night table, such that the book holder is right beside the bed and it’s easy to reach the book.

The night tables feature some of my “standard” design details:

• Raised lip on the top back edge.
• Custom door pulls carved from a burl.
• The cabinet floats” above the stand. 

The night tables are 20″ wide, 14 ¼” deep and 28″ tall.
