Walnut Polygon Cabinet

I made this wedding present for my niece Chelsea and her husband Stephen in 2025.

The cabinet features two doors which have pentagonal tiling using Claro Walnut type 13 pentagons. The pentagons were made using shop-sawn veneers that I cut from a nice plank that I had been saving for something special. The inside of the cabinet, including the doors is curly maple from a tree that grew on Vancouver Island.
